June 16th saw the young Mr. Evans head off to Akame 48 Falls in Mie prefecture. The path was shaded and cool on a hot day. The waterfalls were nice as well. |

The area is famous for its giant salamanders. There's a small aquarium at the start of the trail that displays these creatures, but none were to be found along the actual hiking trail. |

48 is a lot of waterfalls, so Phill hiked until he saw about 20 of them and then decided to just slowly go back down and eat. To anyone living here on the islands who is sick of tall buildings and suffocating smog, Phill gives you the suggestion to go to Akame and enjoy. |
